Bahcesehir Koleji Istanbul (BSL) landed 27-year old American 190cm guard CJ Massinburg (college: Buffalo) for upcoming season. Massinburg has played for the last two years at Germani Brescia Leonessa in Italian Serie A. In 35 games he averaged 12.9ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.0apg and 1.3spg last season. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final. A very good season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Most Improved Player of the Year and League Player of the Week (2 times). Massinburg also played for Brescia (Serie A). He contributed in the Supercup final. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Italian SerieA Most Improved Player of the Year and League Player of the Week (2 times).
Massinburg has played also professionally in France (Limoges CSP Elite), NBA G League (Long Island Nets) and The Basketball Tournament (Blue Collar U (Buffalo Alumni)). His team won MAC Tournament in 2016, 2018 and 2019.
He received All-MAC Player of the Year award back in 2019.
Massinburg graduated from University of Buffalo in 2019 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
