Tofas Bursa (BSL) added to their roster 30-year old Mexican-American ex-international point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191cm-1993, agency: Pro Sports) for season 2024-25. Perez-Kaufmann is not a newcomer in Turkish League as he played last season at Buyukcekmece. In 28 BSL games in Turkey he recorded 14.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 6.8apg (top 3) and 1.1spg.
He was voted to Latinbasket.com Mexican LNBP All-Domestic Players Team back in 2015 and 2017.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Konyaspor where in 24 BSL games he averaged 13.6ppg, 2.8rpg, 7.5apg (top 2) and 1.2spg in that year.
He also represented Mexico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia) six years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 7.3ppg, 2.7rpg, 3.0apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 35.3%, 3PT: 42.9%, FT: 50.0%.
He is quite experienced player. Perez-Kaufmann has played also professionally in Argentina (San Lorenzo), Israel (Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Latvia (VEF Riga), Lithuania (Zalgiris), Venezuela (Bucaneros), Turkey (Turk Telekom, Fenerbahce, Bandirma and Bahcesehir) and Mexico (Soles). He was selected to Latinbasket.com Mexican LNBP All-Domestic Players Team back in 2015 and 2017.
