There was no surprise when 12th ranked Braunschweig (15-19) was defeated at home by fifth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (24-10) 77-72 on Sunday. Ulm forced 20 Braunschweig turnovers. American forward Trevion Williams (206-2000, college: Purdue) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Dominican forward LJ Figueroa (198-1998, college: Oregon) chipped in 14 points during the contest. ratiopharm Ulm’s coach Anton Gavel used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side swingman Brandon Tischler (201-2000) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Angolan center Jilson Bango (208-1999) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. ratiopharm Ulm have a solid three-game winning streak.
