The game between Peristeri (16-9) and Aris (13-12) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Peristeri was defeated by Aris in a tough game in Athens 75-82. Aris forced 19 Peristeri turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Peristeri helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Ivorian-American power forward Ismael Sanogo (203-1996, college: Seton Hall) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Latvian forward Roberts Blumbergs (208-1998, college: GCU) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Canadian point guard Elijah Mitrou-Long (185-1996, college: UNLV) answered with 12 points and 5 rebounds for Peristeri. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
An interesting game for AEK (11-14) which hosted in Athens Lavrio (9-16). AEK had an easy win 100-67. It was a great evening for Lithuanian Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-1989) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Jordan McRae helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. AEK’s coach Elias Zouros felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was British-American Noah Horchler (204-1998, college: Providence) with 8 points and 14 rebounds.
An interesting game for Panathinaikos (23-1) which hosted in Athens Olympiacos (22-3). Panathinaikos managed to get a 6-point victory 77-71. It was an exceptional evening for Kendrick Nunn who led the winners and scored 17 points and 4 assists. Nigel Williams-Goss came up with 18 points for Olympiacos in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 3: Apollon was beaten by Maroussi on the road 77-73. Promitheas destroyed Kolossos HH on its own court 96-73. Karditsas unfortunately lost to PAOK in Thessaloniki 70-85.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by Moustapha Fall of Olympiacos.

No shocking result in a game when Maroussi (9-16) beat Apollon Patras (4-21) in Athens 77-73 on Saturday. Maroussi made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Strangely Apollon outrebounded Maroussi 38-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-1988) who led the winners and scored 26 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American point guard Isaiah Briscoe (190-1996, college: Kentucky) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Maroussi’s coach Georgios Limniatis used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Malik Osborne (206-1998, college: FSU) came up with 24 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import center Chad Brown (206-1996, college: UCF) added 16 points and 16 rebounds respectively for Apollon in the defeat. Four Apollon players scored in double figures.

Promitheas looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Kolossos HH‘s players. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Bryce Hamilton (193-2000, college: UNLV) who led the winners and scored 24 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard Anthony Cowan Jr (183-1997, college: Maryland) accounted for 16 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Promitheas players scored in double figures. Austrian power forward Luka Brajkovic (211-1999, college: Davidson) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard London Perrantes (187-1994, college: Virginia) added 13 points respectively for Kolossos HH in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
