34-year old USA-LIBn point guard Joe Ragland (182-PG-1989) had a great game in the last round for Peristeri BWin Athens and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
He had the game-high 19 points adding five rebounds and nine assists for Peristeri in his team’s victory, helping them to edge out Pinar Karsiyaka (1-3) 76-73. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. Peristeri maintains the 4th position in Basketball Champions League . Too late to improve their position as they are currently ranked such low. They already lost 3 games and recorded just one victory. In the team’s last game Ragland had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Peristeri‘s top player in his first season with the team. Wichita State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ragland is league’s best passer with 9.2apg. Ragland
Second best performed player last round was Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-PF-1989) of AEK Athens. He is Lithuanian forward in his first season at AEK. In the last game Kuzminskas recorded an impressive double-double of 40 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as AEK was edged by slightly higher-ranked H.Holon (#3, 2-2) 112-108. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. AEK still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Kuzminskas is a newcomer at AEK and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to center Austin Wiley (211-C-1999) of league’s second-best Tofas Bursa. Wiley scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Wiley’s great performance the Tofas lost 74-77 to #3 ranked Cholet. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Tofas needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Wiley has a great season in Basketball Champions League. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 9.5rpg (#1 in league). He also has 2.0bpg and a FGP of 70.2%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
