Bottom-ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg managed to get a third victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak. This time they edged thirteenth-ranked Braunschweig 84-83. Worth to mention a great performance of center Marcel Kessen (207-1997) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds. Abu Kigab contributed with 19 points for the winners. American guard Ahmaad Rorie (186-1995, college: Montana, agency: Worldwide SM) replied with 17 points for Braunschweig. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish power forward Aleksander Dziewa (207-1997) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and American guard William Christmas (196-1996, college: CPP) who added 18 points and 6 assists during the contest.
