Lenovo Tenerife (Liga Endesa) inked 26-year old American 188cm point guard Kyle Guy (college: Virginia). Guy supposed to play at Panathinaikos in Greek GBL league, but left the team in Dec.’23,. In 6 games he averaged 6.8ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.8apg this season. He also played 8 games in Euroleague where he had 4.0ppg. The last season he played at Joventut in Spanish Liga Endesa. In 40 games he recorded 12.8ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.1apg. Guy helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com Spanish Liga Endesa All-Imports Team and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Liga Endesa Third Team. He also played 21 games in Eurocup where he got 11.8ppg, 1.7rpg and 2.6apg.
In 2019 he was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (55th overall). Guy graduated from University of Virginia and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Guy has played also professionally in other USA team, NBA (Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings), NBA G League (Sioux Falls Skyforce, Stockton Kings and Cleveland Charge), UBA (Carolina C.) and NBA Summer League (GS Warriors and GS Warriors).
Among many awards Guy’s college team won ACC Tournament in 2018. He was also selected to county runner-up player of the Year back in 2015.
