The most important game in the last round took place in Beograd between second ranked Slovenian Cedevita Ol. (10-4) and ninth ranked Serbian Mega BG (7-7) on Sunday night. Cedevita Ol. was defeated by Mega BG on the road 97-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cedevita Ol.. Mega BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Cedevita Ol. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Canadian-Serbian guard Stefan Miljenovic (190-2001, college: Slippery Rock) who scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Serbian Nikola Djurisic (203-2004) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists. Mega BG’s coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Montenegrin guard Justin Cobbs (191-1991, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 22 points and 9 assists for the guests. Mega BG moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Defending Slovenian champion Cedevita Ol. keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Partizan. Mega BG is looking forward to face Borac (#6) in Cacak in the next round. Cedevita Ol. will play at home against the league’s leader Crvena Zvezda (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Host Crvena Zvezda (13-1) smashed guests from Aleksandrovac (9-5) 80-48. American-Slovenian power forward Mike Tobey (213-1994, college: Virginia) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Dejan Davidovac contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Jackie Carmichael (206-1990, college: Illinois St., agency: Slash Sports) replied with 11 points and 9 rebounds for Igokea. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Crvena Zvezda have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending Serbian champion maintains first position with 13-1 record. Igokea lost third consecutive game. Defending Bosnian champion keeps the fourth place with five games lost. They share the position with Buducnost. Crvena Zvezda will play against league’s second-placed Cedevita Ol. in Ljubljana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Igokea will play at home against Split and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Zadar was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (9-5) played at the court of 6th ranked Croatian Zadar (7-7). Buducnost defeated Zadar 67-57 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zadar. Yogi Ferrell scored 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Dario Dreznjak responded with 11 points. Zadar’s coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help. Defending Montenegrin champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Igokea. Defending Croatian champion Zadar keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Buducnost will meet at home bottom-ranked Mornar (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Zadar will play against S.Centar (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Rest of the games of round 14 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Borac defeated Cibona in Cacak 101-97. Krka was beaten by FMP BG at home 87-89. Partizan destroyed Mornar on the opponent’s court 98-76. S.Centar unfortunately lost to Split in a home game 91-92.
Cibona – Borac CA 97-101
There was no surprise in Zagreb where 10th ranked Croatian Cibona (5-9) was defeated by eighth ranked Serbian Borac (7-7) 101-97 on Thursday. Borac shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Ronaldo Segu (183-1999, college: Buffalo) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Danilo Tasic (207-1993) chipped in 28 points during the contest. Serbian Aleksandar Aranitovic (195-1998) responded with 26 points and 4 assists and point guard Kresimir Radovcic (195-1997) scored 16 points and 5 assists. Four Borac and five Cibona players scored in double figures. Borac moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Cibona at the other side keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with Split and FMP BG. Borac will meet at home Mega BG (#8) in the next round. Cibona will play against FMP BG in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Montenegrin forward Bojan Subotic (203-1990) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Vojislav Stojanovic (199-1997) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four FMP BG players scored in double figures. Point guard Jan Span (189-1992) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and Serbian power forward Marko Radovanovic (209-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Very expected game in Bar where 14th ranked Montenegrin Mornar (1-13) was rolled over by fourth ranked Serbian Partizan (10-4) 98-76 on Saturday. Partizan outrebounded Mornar 39-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. Partizan looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Tristan Vukcevic (209-2003) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Danilo Andjusic (194-1991) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Five Partizan players scored in double figures. American forward Marcus Weathers (196-1997, college: SMU) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Marcus Lewis (196-1992, college: EKU) scored 18 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Partizan moved-up to second place, which they share with Cedevita Ol. Mornar lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Partizan will meet at home Krka (#13) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Mornar will play against Buducnost in Podgorica and hope to win that game.
