KLS is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 15 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

KLS top team – Vojvodina (13-2) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat fourteenth ranked Sloga (4-11) in Novi Sad 80-67. Vojvodina forced 22 Sloga turnovers. 29 personal fouls committed by Sloga helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for forward Stefan Savic (200-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American power forward Tyrell Johnson (203-1997, college: App State) helped adding 11 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Stefan Matovic (203-1991) with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vojvodina have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-2 record. Sloga at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Zdravlje and Novi Pazar. Vojvodina are looking forward to face Spartak (#3) in Subotica in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sloga will play at home against Joker (#7) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Important game to mention about took place in Pancevo. Ninth ranked Sloboda (7-8) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 13th ranked Tamis PN (5-10) 79-76 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Branislav Djekic (208-1991) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Aleksa Cubic accounted for 14 points. American guard Jaylin Andrews (193, college: Loyola, MD) came up with 20 points and 4 assists for Tamis PN in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sloboda moved-up to eighth place, which they share with OKK Beograd and Metalac VL. Tamis PN at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with Mladost. Sloboda will play against bottom-ranked Novi Pazar (#16) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tamis PN will play against Radnicki KG (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
10th ranked Dynamic VP (6-9) was outscored at home by sixth ranked Cacak 94 (9-6) with the biggest margin this round 75-48 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dynamic VP. The best player for the winners was Trey Pulliam who scored 21 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Eral Penn who recorded 11 points and 8 rebounds. Dynamic VP’s coach Sasa Nikitovic gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Cacak 94 moved-up to fifth place. Loser Dynamic VP dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost. Cacak 94 will meet higher ranked Zlatibor (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dynamic VP’s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd OKK Beograd.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 15: OKK Beograd lost to Metalac VL on the opponent’s court 94-111. Novi Pazar was outscored by Joker in a home game 74-93. Mladost was rolled over Spartak on the road 95-69. Vrsac defeated Zdravlje on its own court 82-76. Radnicki KG was beaten by Zlatibor in Cajetina 92-84.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 30 points and 10 rebounds by Viktor Kovacevic of Zlatibor.



Dynamic VP – Cacak 94 48-75

10th ranked Dynamic VP (6-9) was outscored at home by sixth ranked Cacak 94 (9-6) with the biggest margin this round 75-48 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dynamic VP. The best player for the winners was American guard Trey Pulliam (190, college: SDSU) who scored 21 points and 8 assists. Petar Grojic (195-2001) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was British V.Islands-American forward Eral Penn (201-1998, college: DePaul) who recorded 11 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jovan Sljivancanin (196-1999, college: Carroll, MT) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively. There was a minor upset in Valjevo where higher ranked OKK Beograd (7-8) was defeated by eleventh ranked Metalac VL (7-8) 111-94 on Saturday. Metalac VL looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Sava Lesic (205-1988, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard Kenny Dye (183-2000, college: Queens, NC, agency: BIG) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) who recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Bogoljub Markovic (204-2005) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Five Metalac VL and four OKK Beograd players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Metalac VL moved-up to eighth place, which they share with OKK Beograd and Sloboda. Metalac VL will meet at home Zdravlje (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Very predictable result when seventh ranked Joker (8-7) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Novi Pazar (4-11) 93-74 on Sunday. Joker dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Novi Pazar‘s 32 and made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game, while Novi Pazar only scored six points from the stripe. They outrebounded Novi Pazar 55-34 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was naturalized Hungarian forward Aleksa Brbaklic (195-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Zachary Simmons (205-1999, college: N.Texas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Joker S. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian forward Marko Gutalj (201-2000) who recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Altin Islamovic (200-2000) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Not a big story in a game in Subotica where 12th ranked Mladost (5-10) was rolled over by fourth ranked Spartak (11-4) 95-69 on Tuesday. Spartak dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Mladost ZE‘s 34. It was a great shooting night for Spartak especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Dusan Radosavljevic (201-2001) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Pavle Stepanovic (205-2002) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Spartak players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Lazar Vasic (191-2001) who recorded 21 points and 5 assists and power forward Cedomir Matic (204-2003) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Spartak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Vrsac and Zlatibor. Loser Mladost ZE keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with Tamis PN. Spartak will meet at home league’s leader Vojvodina in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Everything went according to plan when second ranked Vrsac (11-4) beat at home 15th ranked Zdravlje (4-11) 82-76 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Zlatibor made 34-of-39 free shots (87.2 percent) during the game, while Radnicki KG only scored nine points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was forward Viktor Kovacevic (203-1999, college: West Liberty) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds. Center Dimitrije Nikolic (212-1997) chipped in 22 points and 9 rebounds.
