Second defeat of league’s leader Sporting (9-2) against ninth ranked Imortal (4-6) 104-98 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sporting. Imortal looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American swingman Ryan Weber (198-1993, college: Ball St., agency: Promo Sport ID) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import swingman Jake Van Tubbergen (201, college: GVSU) contributed with 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American Mike Moore (203-1994, college: Mount Olive) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for Sporting. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Imortal moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Povoa. Sporting at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by FC Porto. Sporting will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. Imortal will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Ovarense on the road.

Danjel Purifoy came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds for Galomar in the defeat. Ovarense moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Vitoria SC and Portimonense. Newly promoted Galomar keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Ovarense will meet at home Imortal (#9) in the next round. Galomar will have a break next round.
