Leche Rio Breogan Lugo (Liga Endesa) added to their roster 30-year old American shooting guard Ben McLemore (196cm-88kg-1993, college: Kansas). McLemore already started the season at AEK Athens in Greek GBL league, but left the team in Dec.’23. In 7 games he recorded 9.7ppg and 3.9rpg. He also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged 9.2ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.8apg.
Part of last season he spent at Heroes in Chinese CBA. In 9 games he had 8.9ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.4apg. He also spent pre-season at the Trail Blazers in NBA.
In 2013 he was drafted by Sacramento Kings (NBA) in first round (7th overall). He attended University of Kansas and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
McLemore has played also professionally in other USA teams, NBA (Houston Rockets, LA Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (Memphis Hustle).
He won NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2020.
