According to Joe Tipton of ON3.com, freshman small forward Marcus Adams Jr. has now left both Kansas and Gonzaga, as the California high school product visited BYU on Monday & Tuesday (via Mitch Harper of KSL Sports).
I personally think that the Cougars (entering Big 12 Conference) would be the best fit for him at this point to try and keep his status as an under the radar 2024 NBA draft prospect.
I’ve said before that I’m high on Adams Jr.’s potential, and the Los Angeles Times’ Eric Sondheimer even said back in February that he’s as NBA ready as any high school player.
With many evaluators anxious to see if those electrifying games he had in high school can translate to the next level and beyond, hopefully where the young man is attending school for 2023-24 can finally be 100% official.
