For some NBA fans, the 2020 NBA bubble season and Lakers championship was a write-off and Alex Caruso isn’t happy about it.
Now, with Boston winning against Philly, four of the conference finalists from 2020 have advanced to the same stage this season.
The GOAT (Caruso) was part of LA’s championship team in 2020 and he has taken to Twitter to silence the bubble nay-sayers.
“ BUT THE BUBBLE DIDNT COUNT !” 😭😭

It took a huge effort for the Lakers to make it this far into the postseason after starting the season 2-10.
But the trade deadline was good to them and they managed to secure seventh seed, despite injuries to LeBron and AD at various points in the season.
After knocking off the 2022 champs (Golden State) in Game 6 of the Western semifinals, Davis is super motivated to chase another chip.
“Me and Bron want another one,” Davis said postgame. “Now it’s time to go get it. Unfinished business.”
A giant European man named Nikola Jokic and the his team, the Nuggets, now stand in the way.
Jokic has been averaging an almost unbelievable feat of 30.7 points, 12.8 rebounds and 9.7 assists per game on 54.9 percent shooting from the field.
This is who LA will need to beat in the Western Conference Finals and LeBron is looking forward to challenge.
“It’s gonna be a great series,” LeBron said. “You got two well coached teams. They been the number one seed in the West all year long. We give them a lot of respect.”
The first game of the Nuggets-Lakers series will take place on Tuesday, May 16 at 5:30PM PDT.
