The NBPA voted Tamika Tremaglio as executive director to replace Michele Roberts.
Tremaglio, managing principal of Deloitte’s Greater Washington practice, has been advising the NBPA behind the scenes for nearly a decade and has also worked extensively with the WNBA’s union.
Adrienne Banks Pitts was the other finalist for the job. Pitts is managing director and general counsel of Loop Capital Markets.
The union, however, did not conduct a vote involving representatives from all 30 teams. DeAndre Jordan (Nets), Devonte’ Graham (Hornets), Paul Millsap (Nuggets), Sterling Brown (Rockets) and Jared Dudley (Lakers) were all listed as player reps last season and have since switched teams or retired, leaving those teams without a dedicated rep.
