A very close game took place in Kranj between Triglav and Krka. Sixth ranked Triglav (5-5) got a very close home victory over 5th ranked Krka (4-6). Triglav managed to escape with a 2-point win 64-62 on Sunday evening. Triglav have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Krka lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Triglav will meet Postojna (#5) on the road in the next round. Krka will play against Slovan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
In the last two games of round 9 Hopsi Polzela was smashed by Ilirija on the road 95-75. Bottom-ranked Zlatorog was destroyed by Postojna on its own court 63-103.
Ilirija – Hopsi Polzela 95-75
The game between closely ranked teams ended with first ranked Ilirija‘s (7-1) home victory over second-best Hopsi Polzela (5-4) in Ljubljana 95-75 on Sunday.
