KK Tajfun Sentjur (Liga Nova KBM) signed 27-year old American guard Daniel Hornbuckle (182cm-77kg-1998, college: WWU). Hornbuckle supposed to play at Ikaroi Trikala in Greek Elite League, but left the team in Nov.’24. In 10 games he had 8.6ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.8apg this season. The last season he played at Lovcen in Montenegrin Erste Liga where in 17 games he recorded 14.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.3apg. He also played 8 games in Balkan League where he averaged 12.4ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.6apg. Hornbuckle helped them to make it to the semifinals.
He was voted to All-GNAC Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Hornbuckle graduated from Western Washington University in 2023 and it is his second season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: Portland Community College, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
