Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket Denizli (BSL) signed 28-year old ex-international small forward Egehan Arna (202cm-1997). Arna started the season at Bahcesehir in the BSL. But in 8 games he had just 1.5ppg and 1.1rpg. He also played 4 games in Eurocup, but he recorded only 0.5ppg.
Arna was also a member of Turkish international program for some years. He played for Turkish Senior National Team in 2022 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2015.
Arna represented Turkey at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Crete (Greece) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 15.0ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.4apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 60.0%, 3PT: 28.1%, FT: 66.7%.
He has played previously for three other teams: Efes, Fenerbahce and Besiktas. Arna won Turkish League championship title in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2023 and the cup in 2017, 2018 and 2023.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com Turkish League All-Domestic Players Team back in 2022.
