Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montecatini: Montecatini (#2) and Fabo Herons (#5). Fabo Herons were defeated at home 75-79 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Lorenzo DAlessandro nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Marco Arrigoni came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Fabo Herons in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Montecatini (16-5) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place having four points less than leader Legnano, which they share with Treviglio. San Severo was defeated by Ravenna in a road game 82-75. RO Virtus 1960 beat Fabriano at home 65-55. Latina lost to Roseto on the opponent’s court 66-82.
