Anadolu Efes Istanbul (BSL) added to their roster 28-year old American swingman PJ Dozier Jr (198cm-93kg-1996, college: S.Carolina). Dozier Jr supposed to play at Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA, but was released by the team in Dec.’24. But in 9 games he recorded just 0.8ppg this season. The last season he played at Partizan in Serbian league where in 33 Euroleague games he averaged 9.2ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.3spg. He also played 27 games in ABA League where he had 7.7ppg, 2.7rpg and 3.1apg.
Dozier Jr is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in NBA (Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings), NBA G League (OKC Blue, Iowa Wolves, Maine Celtics and Windy City Bulls) and NBA Summer League (Philadelphia 76ers). Dozier Jr was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League Honorable Mention in 2024.
He graduated from University of South Carolina in 2017 and it is his eighth season as a professional player.
