Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-1988) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the hosts. BARS-RGEU’s coach Aleksandr Sosnin rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help. Zenit-2 maintains first position with 10-3 record, which they share with TSU and CSKA-2. BARS-RGEU at the other side dropped to the fifteenth place with nine games lost. Zenit-2 is looking forward to face Lok.Kuban (#12) in Krasnodar in the next round which should be an easy win for them. BARS-RGEU will play at home against Dinamo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Barnau was also worth to mention about. Second ranked CSKA-2 (10-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Barnaul (6-7). CSKA-2 defeated Barnaul 82-71. Alexandr Evseev (205-2002) orchestrated the victory by scoring 6 points and 14 rebounds. Ilia Ermakov contributed with 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Vsevolod Tishin (197-2001) replied with 20 points for Barnaul. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CSKA-2 have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with TSU and Zenit-2. Barnaul lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. CSKA-2 will play against Novosybirsk (#6) in Novosibirsk in the next round where they are favorite. Barnaul will play at home against Tambov and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Khimki was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Dinamo (9-4) played at the court of fifth ranked Khimki (8-5). Khimki defeated Dinamo 85-70 on Sunday. Victor Zaryazhko scored 23 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. Khimki’s coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Pavel Lobarev responded with 27 points and 4 assists. Khimki maintains fifth position with 8-5 record. Loser Dinamo V. keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Khimki will meet at home Irkut (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Dinamo will play against Univ.Surgut (#9) and hope to secure a win.

Rest of the games of round 14 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Chelbasket was defeated by TSU in Revda 90-85. Kupol-Rodniki beat Metallurg MGN at home 80-73. Bottom-ranked Dinamo was destroyed by Lok.Kuban on the opponent’s court 87-59. Novosybirsk unfortunately lost to Tambov in a home game 53-66. Irkut recorded a loss to Univ.Surgut on the road 82-87.
The best stats of 14th round was 24 points and 10 rebounds by Andrei Savrasov of Irkut.


TSU – Chelbasket 90-85

There was no surprise in Revda where 7th ranked Chelbasket (6-7) was defeated by third ranked TSU (10-3) 90-85 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. TSU outrebounded Chelbasket 31-20. Forward Artem Vostrikov (201-1996) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Ivan Evstigneev (194-1999, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 23 points during the contest. Point guard Dmitriy Nezvankin (187-1993) responded with 19 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-1991, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Chelbasket players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TSU keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Zenit-2 and CSKA-2.
