Newly promoted Elitzur Maccabi Netanya (Winner League) inked 25-year old American 193cm swingman Kyler Edwards (college: Houston). Edwards already started the season at JDA Dijon Bourgogne in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 8 games he averaged 8.9ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.4apg and 1.0spg. He also played 8 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 10.3ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.0bpg.
Edwards is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Canada (Surge), Dominican Republic (Metros), NBA G League (Long Island Nets and Motor City Cruise) and The Basketball Tournament (Air Raiders). His team made it to the NBA G League Semifinals in 2024.
Edwards was voted to All-Big 12 Honorable Mention back in 2021.
He graduated from University of Houston in 2022 and it is his third season in pro basketball. Edwards played also for Texas Tech University for 3 years.
