Shooting guard Didzis Malisevs (196-SG-2001) was the top scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 41 points he had in the Latvian RNBL. Despite his strong performance, his team Sigulda lost to the Salaspils 91 to 121. He begun his career in 2017 playing for the BK Sigulda for 2 years. He switched to the BK Ogre in 2019 only for 1 year before playing for the Latvijas University for 2 years. He then switched back to the BK Ogre team for 2 years before playing for his current team, the BK Sigulda. He won the Latvian LBL3 championship title in 2019 and made it to the Latvian League Semifinals in 2023.
