Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lokomotiv-2 maintains sixth place with 6-3 record. Defending champion Zenit-2 keeps the second position with three games lost. Lokomotiv-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zenit-2 will play again at home against Lokomotiv-2 and is hoping to win this game.
The game in Minsk was also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Parma-2 (6-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Minsk (4-7). Parma-2 defeated Minsk 75-59. It was an exceptional evening for Ivan Mironov (196-2006, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led the winners and scored 23 points. Dmitry Fedorov accounted for 17 points. Belarusian point guard David Mukete (188-2006) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds for Minsk in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Parma-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 6-5 record. Newly promoted Minsk keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Parma-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Minsk will play again at home against Parma-2 (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Eleventh-ranked Uralmash-2 (2-9) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Khimki-2 (7-2) on Wednesday. Khimki-2 managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was Andrey Bovduy who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was Alexandr Kosachev who recorded 22 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Khimki-2 maintains fifth place with 7-2 record. Uralmash-2 lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with nine games lost. Khimki-2 will again meet at home Uralmash-2 (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Uralmash-2 will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 15 Enisey-2 lost to Avtodor-2 on the opponent’s court 87-97. Bottom-ranked Samara-2 unfortunately lost to MBA-2 in a home game 78-83.


Avtodor-2 – Enisey-2 97-87

Rather expected game in Saratov where 12th ranked Enisey-2 (1-10) was defeated by tenth ranked Avtodor-2 (3-8) 97-87 on Wednesday. Avtodor-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2‘s 28 and made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Avtodor-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Anton Suschik (210-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Petr Forsov (184-2005) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Egor Skuratov (190-2005) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Anton Ovchinnikov (190-2006) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Avtodor-2 and five Enisey-2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Avtodor-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain tenth place with 3-8 record. Enisey-2 at the other side dropped to the bottom position with ten games lost. Avtodor-2 will again meet at home bottom-ranked Enisey-2 (#13) in the next round. Enisey-2 will have a break next round.

The best player for the winners was guard Timofey Shikalov (195-2006) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Klim Adaykin (195-2005) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was center Ivan Kasyanov (205-2005) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and forward Egor Amosov (197-2008) added 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. MBA-2 maintains third place with 9-3 record having just two points less than leader CSKA-Junior. Samara-2 lost fourth consecutive game.
