It’s still too early stage of the Regular Season in Higher League, but even now we can clearly see the difference between stronger teams and outsiders. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Rusichi (1-1) recorded a loss in Kursk on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by Dynamo Ufa (4-2) 73-64. Dynamo Ufa forced 24 Rusichi turnovers. The best player for the winners was Aleksey Chilikin (207-1993) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds. Center Maksim Voytov (207-1994) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Belarusian Tsimafei Paraliou (207-1997) who recorded 19 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo Ufa is looking forward to face Desna (#8) in Bryansk in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rusichi will play at home against Metallurg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Bryansk. Metallurg (2-4) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging Desna (1-1) 82-79 on Monday evening. It was a good game for Artem Stepantsov (195-1998) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Alexander Puida contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Daniil Glazov (191-2001) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds for Desna. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Metallurg will play against Rusichi (#9) in Kursk in the next round. Desna will play at home against Dynamo Ufa to get more than just one victory in their record.

Very important is a road loss of Dynamo Ufa (4-2) against Rusichi (1-1) on Monday night. Visiting Dynamo Ufa was defeated by Rusichi in a tough game in Kursk 76-83. Rusichi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Andrey Lysenkov (192-1992) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points. Bogdan Rublev (197-2007) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds. Four Rusichi K. players scored in double figures. Rusichi K.’s coach Sergey Yaroshenko used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Aleksey Chilikin (207-1993) with 15 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alexandr Zubkov (181-2002) scored 10 points and 8 assists. The game between closely ranked teams ended with Metallurg‘s (2-4) road loss to Desna (1-1) 61-73 on Sunday. It was a great evening for the former international guard Vitaly Fridzon (194-1985) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Mikhail Yudov (198-1989) helped adding 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Desna players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was swingman Nikita Pertcev (202-2000) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Artem Stepantsov (195-1998) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds.
