The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Orchesien BC (6-2) on the court of fourth ranked Mulhouse on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Mulhouse 89-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Orchesien BC. Mulhouse outrebounded Orchies 48-22 including a 21-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American guard Trevon Faulkner (193-2000, college: NKU) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Lyon smashed Charleville on its own court 86-65. Le Havre destroyed Avignon/Pontet in a road game 84-58. Feurs managed to outperform Boulogne at home 70-60. Saint Vallier recorded a loss to Orchies on the opponent’s court 81-67. Berck defeated Feurs in a home game 80-70. Avignon/Pontet was beaten by Charleville on the road 100-90.
