Seawolves (2-1) recorded a loss on the court of EnBW Ludwigsburg on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by EnBW Ludwigsburg 70-64. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Justin Simon (196-1996, college: St.John’s, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Ezra Manjon (183-2000, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Bryce Hamilton (193-2000, college: UNLV) who recorded 16 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg is looking forward to face Ulm on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Seawolves will play against Wuerzburg and are hoping to win this game.

It was a good game for American forward Ryan Mikesell (201-1996, college: Dayton) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Bakary Dibba contributed with 19 points for the winners. American guard Michael Devoe (196-1999, college: Georgia Tech) answered with 29 points for Weissenfels. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. MLP Academics Heidelberg will play against Braunschweig on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. MBC will play against Frankfurt (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
