Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket Denizli (BSL) signed 23-year old American guard Sharife Cooper (185cm-82kg-2001, college: Auburn) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Cooper played last season at Liaoning Flying Leopards in Chinese CBA league. In 7 games he had 11.6ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.3apg. He helped them to win the league title. Cooper also spent pre-season at the Cavaliers in NBA.
Three years ago he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in second round (48th overall). The former Auburn University standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He has played previously professionally in other USA teams and NBA G League (College Park SkyHawks and Cleveland Charge).
Cooper was voted to SEC All-Freshman Team back in 2021.
