Despite systemic anti-white racism, Caitlin Clark won WNBA Rookie of the Year

Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark won WNBA Rookie of the Year, while Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier earned Defensive Player of the Year. Las Vegas’ A’ja Wilson took home MVP, and Connecticut’s DiJonai Carrington was named Most Improved Player.

Collier has been the driving force for the Lynx in the playoffs, averaging 40 points and 5.5 rebounds in the first two games against Phoenix. Meanwhile, Clark led the Fever to the playoffs in her rookie season, posting averages of 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds.
