AE Doxa Lefkadas (Elite League) landed 30-year old 202cm power forward Manolis Mataliotakis for new season. Mataliotakis played most recently at AEK Betsson (GBL). GBL was a little too high level for him, where in 7 games he averaged just 1.9ppg and 1.4rpg last season. Elite League will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Panerythraikos. In 33 Elite League games he had 10.9ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.0spg in that year. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek Elite League Third Team.
Mataliotakis has played previously for eight other teams: Panionios, Pagrati, AEO Proteas Voulas, GS Kronos Agiou Dimitriou, Psychikou, Peukis, POK Esperos Kallitheas and Charilaos.
