Trabzonspor Medical Park Basketbol (TBL) added to their roster experienced 34-year old forward Gokhan Yazicioglu (200cm-1990) for new 2024-25 season. Yazicioglu played last season at Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi Spor Mersin. In 39 TBL games he had 8.5ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.8apg. He helped them to win the TBL title. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
The most of previous (2022-23) season he spent at Sigortam.net Istanbul where in 35 TBL games he recorded 7.6ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.5apg in that year. Yazicioglu contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. He also played for Beylikduzu that season. In 35 TBL games he averaged 7.6ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.5apg in that year.
Yazicioglu has spent his entire career in Turkey playing for seven other teams: TED Ankara, Golcuk, Bursaspor, Eskisehir, Yesilgiresun, Baskent and Eskisehir.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TBL Honorable Mention in 2022.
