Yukatel Merkezefendi Belediyesi Basket Denizli (BSL) strengthened their roster with addition of 31-year old American shooting guard Ben McLemore (196cm-88kg-1993, college: Kansas) for season 2024-25. McLemore played most recently at Rio Breogan in Spanish Liga Endesa. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 18 Liga Endesa games he recorded 12.2ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.4apg. McLemore also played 3 games in Basketball Champions League where he averaged impressive 17.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0spg. The other team he played shortly was AEK Betsson in Greek GBL. In 7 games he had 9.7ppg and 3.9rpg. He also played 5 games in Basketball Champions League where he got 9.2ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.8apg.
In 2013 he was drafted by Sacramento Kings (NBA) in first round (7th overall). The former University of Kansas star is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Thanks to McLemore’s pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). McLemore has played previously professionally in China (Heroes), NBA (Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, LA Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies) and NBA G League (Memphis Hustle).
He won NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2020.
