Konya BBSK (TBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American 208cm forward Khalid Thomas (college: Portland State) for upcoming season. Thomas played this summer at Purple Reign (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. But in only one TBT game just recently he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound.
He has played also professionally in Austria, Germany (Eisbaeren Bremerhaven) and Hungary (OSE Lions). His team was regular season runner-up in SWAC in 2018 and 2019.
Thomas was voted to All-Big Sky Conference Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from Portland State in 2022 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Thomas played for other colleges like: Arizona State University, College of Southern Idaho.
