Peristeri BWin Athens (GBL) added to their roster 26-year old Greek-American international guard George Papas (195cm-79kg-1998, college: Monmouth, agency: Octagon Europe) for new 2024-25 season. Papas played last season at Promitheas in Greek GBL league. He managed to play in three leagues last year. In 16 GBL games he had 6.4ppg and 1.6rpg. Papas helped them to win the Supercup. He also played 3 games in Basketball Champions League, but he did not score anything and had only 2 rebounds. The other team he played that season for was Olympiacos where in 10 GBL games he recorded just 2.9ppg. Papas also played 2 games in Euroleague where he averaged only 1.0ppg. He has been regularly called to Greek Senior National Team since 2023.
Papas graduated from Monmouth University in 2022 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
