Basquet Girona (Liga Endesa) landed 19-year-old Nigerian center James Nnaji (212cm-2004) on loan from Barca. He was about to sign at Barca.
Last year, he was drafted by the Detroit Pistons (NBA) as the #0 pick overall.
He is a very experienced player. Nnaji has played in Hungary (RKA Pecs), NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets and Charlotte Hornets), and Hungary. He played in the final of the Spanish Cup (Copa del Rey) in 2024.
Nnaji was named to the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals All-Tournament Team in Valencia back in 2021.
