Bursaspor Info Yatirim (BSL) inked 28-year old American (has also British passport) 213cm center Josh Sharma (college: Stanford) for upcoming season. Sharma has played for the last two years at London Lions in British BBL league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 35 BBL games he recorded 9.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.5bpg last season. He helped them to win the league title. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-British BBL Defensive Player of the Year and voted to All-Defensive Team and League Player of the Week. Sharma also played 19 games in Eurocup where he averaged 5.2ppg and 2.6rpg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals.
Sharma represented United Kingdom at the National Prep Championship Semifinals nine years ago.
He is a very experienced player. Sharma has played also professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi), Poland (Start and Trefl), Spain (Fuenlabrada) and The Basketball Tournament (India R.).
He graduated from Stanford University in 2019 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball.
