Thomas Bryant, off to his ACL recovery, is now set to make his season debut for the Washington Wizards.
Per team insider Quinton Mayo, the 24-year-old big man is activated for the Wizards’ following game against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.
Bryant was having productive outputs for Washington last season, averaging 14.3 points, 6.1 boards in 64.8 percent shooting until going down with an ACL partial tear in his left knee. He had a successful surgery to repair the damage and has made some key progress.
As such, his return will even reinforce the frontcourt depth of D.C., who has also welcomed the warming return of Japanese sensation Rui Hachimura on Sunday after a long hiatus.
Washington currently stands as the 9th-seeded squad in the East (20-20) and will look to regain their position atop of the Conference.
