Valencia Basket (Liga Endesa) signed 27-year old American power forward Nathan Sestina (206cm-106kg-1997, college: Kentucky) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Sestina played last season at Fenerbahce in Turkish BSL league, but left the team in Jun.’24. In 18 games he had 9.6ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.1apg. He also played 35 games in Euroleague where he recorded 3.6ppg and 1.5rpg. Sestina helped them to make it to the Euroleague Final Four.
He is quite experienced player. Sestina has played also professionally in Israel (Hapoel Holon), Turkey (Turk Telekom and Merkezefendi), NBA G League (Long Island Nets) and NBA Summer League (Sacramento Kings, Utah Jazz, Utah Jazz Blue and Sacramento Kings). He won Turkish League championship title in 2024 and the cup in 2017 and 2018.
Sestina graduated from University of Kentucky in 2020 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player. He played also for Bucknell University for 4 years.
