Paul Pierce ended up in the hospital on Friday after suffering a severe finger injury that caused significant bleeding and multiple broken bones. The Boston Celtics legend informed his fans of his condition by posting photos from his hospital bed, wearing a gown.
He shared graphic images of the injury, showing his right ring fingertip twisted away from his thumb and a close-up of the other side of his finger, which was badly split open.
