The game had a very big importance for second-ranked CSKA-Junior as it allowed them to take a leadership position. CSKA-Junior smashed 8th ranked Parma-2 in Moscow 100-58. CSKA-Junior dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Parma-2‘s 30 and made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Parma-2 only scored seven points from the stripe. CSKA-Junior forced 22 Parma-2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Parma-2‘s players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when CSKA-Junior made 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Parma-2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Nikolay Sadikov (194-2005) orchestrated the victory by scoring 6 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. Maxim Pronin (195-2004) contributed with 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Ivan Egorov (189-2005, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds for Parma-2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Runa-2 (16-7) and Uralmash-2 (8-17), which took place in Yekaterinburg. 4th placed Runa-2 lost to tenth ranked Uralmash-2 in a road game 80-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Runa-2. Guard Danil Yurkov (190-2004) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and Rinat Gafiev chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Uralmash-2’s coach Aleksei Komarov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Yan Dodeus (187-2004, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Uralmash-2 maintains tenth place with 8-17 record. Runa-2 at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Uralmash-2 will again play against higher ranked Runa-2 (#4) in Moscow in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Runa-2 will have a break next round.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 29: Zenit-2 was beaten by MBA-2 on the road 78-70. Bottom-ranked Enisey-2 was destroyed by Khimki-2 on its own court 61-94. Avtodor-2 was outscored by UNICS-2 in Kazan 82-60. N.Novgorod-2 recorded a loss to Samara-2 at home 80-97.
The most impressive performance of 29th round was 23 points, 5 assists and 4 steals by Egor Amosov of Samara-2.

Forward Maxim Ogarkov (201-2006) stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and swingman Egor Yushkov (192-2004) chipped in 16 points and 4 steals. Four MBA-2 players scored in double figures. Ilyas Abdul responded with 10 points and 9 rebounds and center Vladislav Samukhin (210-2004, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Zenit-2’s coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn’t help. MBA-2 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 18-7 record despite having the same number of points like the leader CSKA-Junior. Defending champion Zenit-2 keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Khimki-2 maintains second place with 20-5 record having just two point less than leader CSKA-Junior. Enisey-2 lost fifteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Khimki-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
