In a standout performance, James Harden not only led the Los Angeles Clippers to a 121-113 victory over the Golden State Warriors but also achieved a significant milestone by scoring his 25,000th career point.
Harden’s 28 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds, combined with Kawhi Leonard’s 27 points and eight rebounds, propelled the Clippers to their sixth consecutive win.
Harden, a recent addition to the Clippers, has seamlessly integrated into the team. His milestone-scoring layup in the third quarter placed him among the elite, becoming the 24th player in NBA history to reach 25,000 career points.
Steph Curry, the Warriors’ superstar, expressed his admiration for Harden after the game, saying (h/t Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints), “Ultimate respect [for him]. We’re in the same draft class… When I actually heard it during the game, I actually took a second and was cool to reflect on the journey, but still wanna go out there and beat him. He still wants to beat me, and until it’s all said and done, that’s the competition.”
