CJ McCollum will be out due to a small pneumothorax in his right lung, the New Orleans Pelicans announced on Sunday.
McCollum is set to undergo more testing within the next 48 hours to determine a timeline for his return.
This is the second time McCollum has suffered the injury. McCollum missed three weeks following his prognosis in December 2021.
McCollum is averaging 21.7 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.8 rebounds this season.
