Atlanta Hawks head coach Quin Snyder praised Dejounte Murray following his magnificent performance in Monday’s 127-113 home win vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves (41 points/7 rebounds/5 assists/2 steals/17-24 FG/3-5 3-PT/4-4 FT).

Reporter: “Anthony Edwards came out hot, obviously slowed down in the second half. How would you evaluate Dejounte’s defense on him?”
Snyder: “Well let me say, Anthony Edwards is a terrific player, and you could see that. Obviously we had a few times where he was able to get out in transition where he’s difficult to stop, but he was hitting some really tough shots. I think that was part of Dejounte’s night. The stat sheet says he had 41 points, but defensively any time you see players up on the ball, working, competing, I think it’s inspirational to the guys behind him. He picks your level up because you don’t want to let that guy down. You could feel him on both ends of the floor.”
