Guuk Gipuzkoa Basket San Sebastian (LEB Gold) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old Danish international swingman Mads Bonde (197cm-91kg-1997) for season 2023-24. Bonde is not a newcomer in Spanish League as he played last season at Afanion CB Almansa. In 34 LEB Gold games in Spain he recorded 3.7ppg and 1.8rpg.
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Basquet Girona where in 39 LEB Gold games he averaged 3.3ppg and 2.1rpg in that year.
He has been also a member of Danish international program for some years. Bonde has regularly played for Danish senior team since 2017 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2015.
He represented Denmark at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2021 Pre-Qualifiers four years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 2.3ppg, 1.3rpg.
Bonde has played previously professionally in Spain (Tenerife, Nautico Tenerife, Zamora, Ilerdauto Nissan Pardinyes Lleida and Avila) and Denmark (Horsholm and Naestved).
