Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso exited Saturday night’s game in the first quarter and did not return. The team ruled him out with a strained hamstring. Chicago went on to get a big road win at the Brooklyn Nets.
Following the game, Bulls coach Billy Donovan said the team’s medical staff made the decision to pull Caruso. Donovan said they didn’t like the way the reserve guard was moving during his brief stint on the court.
Caruso has been a key reserve for the Bulls. He’s averaging 8.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and a league-leading 2.2 steals this season.
