Michael Buchanan
Tallinna Kalev (KML) landed 27-year old American 212cm center Michael Buchanan (college: USC Upstate). It is actually his comeback to Tallinn as he has played here before. Buchanan already started the season at Olimpico in Argentinian La Liga. In three games he averaged 14.0ppg and 7.0rpg. The last season he played at ICG Forca Lleida in Spanish LEB Gold where in 24 games he had 10.6ppg and 4.7rpg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
He has played previously professionally in Japan (Iwate) and Latvia.
Among many awards he played in the final of Estonian League in 2019. Buchanan was selected to All-A-Sun 1st Team back in 2017.
He attended University of South Carolina Upstate until 2017 and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
