Contrary to what was expected, Andre Drummond has exercised his $3.36 million player option and will return to the Bulls next year, per NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
It was reported yesterday that the 29-year-old center was likely to decline his player option and would sign with the Mavericks.
This past season Drummond averaged 6 points and 6.6 rebounds in 12.7 minutes per game.
