The first blockbuster trade of this offseason has been made – the Wizards traded Bradley Beal to the Suns for Chris Paul, Landry Shamet and six second-round picks.
Knicks guard Josh Hart took to Twitter to express his reaction to the trade. He was confused that Washington did receive any first-round picks in return for the their star. “They didn’t get a single 1st rd pick??” Hart tweeted.
David Aldridge of The Athletic described the return that the Wizards received for Beal as horrible. “Let’s not sugarcoat this: That’s a horrible return for Bradley Beal,” he wrote.
