The Charlotte Hornets are still debating on who to select with the second overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft. As such, Charlotte is bringing Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller back in for second workouts.
Those second workouts will be watched by Hornets owner Michael Jordan. Last Friday, Jordan finalized a sale of the franchise to a group led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall, but he’s still in charge until the sale is approved by the NBA Board of Governors. Jordan will also retain a stake in the team and is expected to remain a presence around the franchise.
Henderson played the last two season for the G League Ignite. He’s seen as the top guard prospect in the 2023 draft class. Miller spent his freshman year at Alabama and is ranked as the top wing in this year’s draft.
