Sokol Pisek forced 27 Brno 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 47-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Brno 2’s players. 30 personal fouls committed by Brno 2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Vojtech Sykora (189-2001) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 5 steals. Center Martin Svoboda (202-2001) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Center Jaroslav Kubin (205-2000) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Simon Svoboda (202-2004) added 11 points in the effort for Brno 2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
