H.Afula outrebounded M.Raanana 44-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American Jimmy Hall (203-1994, college: Kent St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Argentinian swingman Lucas Goldenberg (190-1993) helped adding 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Four H.Afula players scored in double figures. H.Afula’s coach Roi Perl used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Jason Siggers (194-1985, college: Albany, agency: Avi Zilberman) with 19 points and the other American import forward Jalen Canty (203-1995, college: UCSB, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds.

E.Ashkelon dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Maccabi Rishon’s 28. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Thomas Gipson (202-1993, college: Kansas St.) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized American guard Clarke Rosenberg (193-1993, college: Chicago St.) accounted for 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Point guard Guy Palatin (192-2000) came up with 15 points and 6 assists and American forward Cody Riley (206-1997, college: UCLA) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Maccabi Rishon in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

At the other side the best for losing team was Tyler Wideman (203-1995, college: Butler) who recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Diante Watkins (175-1990, college: RMU) added 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ramat Hash.’s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help.

The best player for the winners was American power forward Romello White (203-1998, college: Ole Miss) who scored 29 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Yogev Ohayon (189-1987) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 17 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Ethan Butler (190-2002) who recorded 35 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Dori Sahar (195-2001, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 23 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Five I.Nahariya and four E.Netanya players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.
